Children’s Harbor is Celebrating Its 13th Annual Harbor Lights Gala “Ohana” with a Polynesian Luau on March 7, Presented by Vertical Bridge

Proceeds from the evening will support teens in foster care

Children’s Harbor invites the community to gather as Ohana–because family is defined by those who show up when it matters most–for an unforgettable evening of generosity and connection at the 13th Annual Harbor Lights Gala, taking place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m, at the stunning Bergeron Green Glades Ranch, 21111 SW 16th Street in Weston, Florida.

Presented by Vertical Bridge, this year’s gala celebrates the power of family, unity, and the community that shows up during the moments that shape a child’s future. Proceeds from the evening will directly support teens in foster care and young adults aging out of the system through Children’s Harbor’s nationally accredited programs.

Hosted by Children’s Harbor, this Polynesian Luau will feature island-inspired decor, live music, hula dancers, fire dancers, a haka performance, curated culinary experiences including pig roasts, a silent auction, a raffle, and more. Community leaders, advocates, and supporters who are committed to ensuring that no young person faces life alone will also come together in support of Children’s Harbor’s mission to keep families together by providing a supportive environment for the teens and young adults it serves.

The evening will be emceed by Julie Guy, a beloved South Florida radio personality with over three decades on the air. Julie began her career in 1991 at the well-known radio station WSHE and can currently be heard weekday mornings on 101.5 LITE FM as one of Those 2 Girls in the Morning. A longtime community advocate and experienced narrator and speaker, Julie is a passionate supporter of numerous charitable organizations throughout South Florida.

Children’s Harbor is also honored to partner with the Miss Kentucky Organization, an affiliate of the Miss America Pageant, and to welcome Miss Kentucky as the evening’s keynote speaker. Her story is both extraordinary and deeply moving. After aging out of the foster care system in Kentucky, where limited support exists for young adults, Miss Kentucky experienced homelessness. A chance encounter with a Miss America recruiter changed the trajectory of her life. Today, she uses her platform to advocate relentlessly for teens in foster care and young adults aging out of the system by sharing a message of resilience, hope, and the life-changing power of community support.

“Our community ensures that family means no one is left behind,” said Tiffani Dhooge, President & CEO of Children’s Harbor. “This night is about showing up for our teens, families, and for the moments that matter most. We are incredibly grateful to Vertical Bridge and to every supporter who makes it possible for Children’s Harbor to continue providing hope, healing, and opportunity for those we serve.”

Children’s Harbor is dedicated to strengthening families while providing safe shelter and essential support to teens and their younger siblings in foster care. Their mission is to empower teens in their care to grow into healthy, educated, and productive adults. Offering a harbor of hope and healing, Children’s Harbor focuses on supporting children who have experienced the trauma of child abuse at its main campus in Pembroke Pines. Funds raised during the 13th Annual Harbor Lights Gala will directly benefit the nonprofit.

General admission tickets to the 13th Annual Harbor Lights Gala are $250 per person. Tickets are available for purchase at childrensharbor-2026harborlightsgala. For sponsorship information, contact info@childrensharbor.org.

About Children’s Harbor

Established in 1996, Children’s Harbor is a nationally accredited child welfare organization with a mission to help strengthen families who are struggling in our community, while providing safe shelter and support to teens in foster care so that they may grow into healthy, educated, and productive adults.

With the belief that children should feel safe, that family is worth fighting for, and that cycles can be broken, Children’s Harbor provides a harbor of hope and healing for children who have been impacted by the trauma of child abuse.  The main campus in Pembroke Pines provides a supportive family environment for teenagers in foster care and their younger siblings. The family support services program prevents kids from coming into foster care by providing free in-home counseling and support to families who are struggling in the community. Additionally, Brown’s Harbor is a supportive housing community dedicated to serving young adults, aged 18-23, who have aged out of the foster care system.  These young adults are provided with affordable housing and the wrap-around support and independent living programs necessary to help them overcome their trauma and navigate through the early stages of adulthood.

International Polo Tour® Launches Ultra-Premium Vodka & Tequila “Polo Reserve” in Partnership with Award-Winning Muscle Vodka — Debuting January 30 in Wellington

polo drink

Ahead of its highly anticipated January 30 polo season kickoff celebration, Wellington-based International Polo Tour® (IPT) is expanding its luxury lifestyle portfolio with the release of its official ultra-premium spirits: IPT Vodka and IPT Tequila “Polo Reserve,” crafted in direct partnership with award-winning Muscle Vodka, an industry leader recognized for developing pure, organic, gluten-free spirits that raise the bar for quality and clean production.

“A core aspect of IPT’s mission is building community while creating world-class events where guests can experience the finest in polo culture,” said Tareq Salahi, Chairman of the Board, International Polo Tour®. “For more than 40 years, I’ve been deeply involved in the alcohol industry, and I knew the time was right to introduce a spirits collection that reflects the prestige of IPT while also supporting meaningful charitable causes.”

Salahi, a University of California, Davis graduate with a degree in Fermentation Science, added: “Our new IPT Vodka and IPT Tequila ‘Polo Reserve’ are built to exceed ultra-premium standards- the kind of spirits that belong behind the bar at the most elite restaurants, lounges, and clubs, and in the private collections of those who appreciate true craftsmanship. We are proud to debut IPT Vodka on January 30 and the IPT Tequila Polo Reserve just behind it in a few weeks”

Made from a refined base of corn and pure water, IPT Vodka is gluten-free, charcoal filtered, and carefully processed using reverse osmosis to help remove impurities and deliver a clean, smooth finish.

Muscle Vodka, a proudly women-owned company, produces and bottles its spirits entirely in the United States, aligning seamlessly with IPT’s celebration of American excellence and the nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary milestone.

In keeping with IPT’s commitment to philanthropy, a portion of proceeds from every bottle sold will benefit long-time IPT charity partner We Will Survive Cancer (WWSC), supporting international efforts to lift the burdens faced by families combating illness.

“I’m honored our team has had the opportunity to build an exciting partnership with IPT,” said Grace Gillespie, Founder of Muscle Vodka. “Crafting exceptional tequila and vodka is an often under-appreciated art, and we’re thrilled to unveil this new signature collection by Tareq Salahi of the IPT while supporting WWSC in the process.”

During IPT’s January 30 kickoff celebration, the organization will welcome key athletes, celebrities, and innovators in support of WWSC- while also unveiling a major announcement shaping the future of polo culture in South Florida.

The evening will further honor IPT’s newly formed partnership with the Royal Thai Embassy and His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Suriya Chindawongse, featuring an immersive Thailand Casino Spectacular complete with a Thai cultural dance show, raffles, vibrant performances, and international flair.

The Wellington Agency Partners with Luxury Lifestyle Logistics to Expand Estate Management Consulting and Optimization Services

Palm Beach, FL (January 26, 2026) – The Wellington Agency, a premier household staffing firm serving ultra-high-net-worth families globally, announced a strategic partnership with Luxury Lifestyle Logistics to introduce estate management consulting and operational optimization as formal service offerings.

The Wellington Agency has long provided consulting and mediation as part of its placement process. Through this partnership, those capabilities are elevated into a structured, post-placement advisory service designed to support the operational realities of today’s complex luxury estates.

April
April J. Berube, Founder and President of The Wellington Agency

“Our clients don’t just have one or two homes,” said April J. Berube, Founder and President of The Wellington Agency. “They may own private islands and maintain five to ten residences worldwide. That level of estate ownership requires expertise, leadership, and structure that extends far beyond traditional household staffing. This partnership allows us to meet that reality with depth and precision.”

Luxury Lifestyle Logistics, founded by Jennifer Laurence, PhD, brings on-site, practical expertise rooted in both formal education and real-world estate leadership. Laurence is the first scholar to define modern estate management as a leadership discipline formally. Her firm specializes in helping principals and estate leadership teams align vision, authority, and daily operations inside the home.

Jennifer Laurence, PhD, Founder of Luxury Lifestyle Logistics

“This partnership allows clients to move beyond placement alone and into long-term clarity around how their household actually functions,” said Jennifer Laurence, PhD. “Exceptional talent is essential, but many challenges arise when leadership alignment and operational governance are unclear. My role is to support what happens after a successful hire–helping principals translate values and lifestyle preferences into systems that staff can confidently operate within. The result is not just excellent service, but stability, trust, and continuity over time.”

Within this expanded offering, optimization services focus on how household systems function in practice, not just how they were intended to work. Many families already employ strong professionals, yet service can become inconsistent when workflows, expectations, and service styles are not clearly defined. Optimization clarifies operations so that service becomes predictable, functional, and sustainable rather than personality-dependent.

Consulting services begin where placement ends. While the Wellington Agency continues to identify and place top-tier talent, Luxury Lifestyle Logistics supports families during onboarding, periods of transition, or restructuring. This on-site, diagnostic work helps clarify decision-making, authority, and communication, which can prevent misalignment from becoming turnover or conflict.

Private Planes, Equestrian Excellence and the New “Show Pony” Were the Backdrop for a Celebration for Military, First responders and Families during WEF SNL’s 215K Net Jets Grand Prix

LSP8630 2

Net Jets, world-class sport and a spirited new signature cocktail formed the backdrop for an unforgettable evening at Wellington Equestrian Festival’s Saturday Night Lights during Week 3, as the $215,000 NetJets Grand Prix doubled as a heartfelt celebration honoring military members, first responders and their families.

American standout Lillie Keenan delivered a commanding performance aboard Fasther, capturing first place in the $215K NetJets Grand Prix and securing back-to-back blue ribbons for the United States rider. The win added another highlight to an already distinguished career for the 29-year-old, who was named USEF Junior Equestrian of the Year in 2013, is a 2019 Harvard University graduate and the 2026 recipient of the prestigious Whitney Stone Cup. Keenan credits four-time Olympian and U.S. team silver medalist McLain Ward as her longtime mentor and coach.

Rounding out the top three were Irish Olympian Shane Sweetnam on Presley Boy 40.87 seconds ahead of third place Australian Olympian Thaisa Erwin riding Hialita B,

Before the Grand Prix began, the International Arena transformed into a scene of tribute and gratitude as Wellington International honored local military personnel, first responders, and their families. The ceremony featured personal recognition from WI CEO Murray Kessler, Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office motorcycles and a dramatic helicopter flyover.

Adding to the night’s excitement, Wellington International unveiled the official drink of the 2026 WEF season: the “Show Pony.” The cocktail was introduced by Jack Morgan, founder of Chrome Horse Society Tequila, a brand rooted in both equestrian culture and modern luxury.

Morgan, who began competing in Wellington at age 14, later shifted his focus to horse breeding in Holland before turning his entrepreneurial eye toward tequila.

“I came from a background in horses and fashion,” Morgan shared. “When Covid hit, I started researching something meaningful to invest in. Tequila has always been my spirit of choice, so I traveled to Guadalajara, toured distilleries, and spent nine months creating the perfect blend.”

He added, “Chrome Horse Society promises impeccable taste, is unapologetically modern, and always a ride to remember.”

Wellington-based International Polo Tour® (IPT) Hotels at Sea® / Circumnavigators Polo Team, known for its globally-successful events and commitment to uplifting the sport, recently delivered yet another stunning match to audience-goers this past Friday at the Wanderers Country Club, battling back in the final chukker to tie the game and continue their ambitious streak ahead of the Florida season’s official start later this month.

Friday’s game featured a powerhouse lineup led by legendary 10-goal polo icon Tincho Merlos, as well as his highly-regarded sons Celestino Merlos and Florencio Merlos, playing alongside Captain Tareq Salahi of Hotels at Sea® Luxury Cruises Polo Team. After trailing for much of the game, the Hotels at Sea team surged with intensity and precision in the final chukker, tying the game and electrifying the crowd with a finish worthy of the sport’s biggest stage.

Salahi stated: “Polo is a game of momentum, and Friday night it was an honor to play with former 10 goaler Tincho Merlos playing on the IPT Hotels at Sea Polo Team partnered with the Circumnavigators Club. As a team we stayed composed, trusted the plan, and when that final chukker hit, we turned it on. That’s the kind of finish that reminds everyone why this sport is so electric.”

The IPT’s next stop will be February 6th at 6:00 PM at Flying Cow Polo Club in Wellington, Florida, where the team will compete in the fast-paced USPA Masters Cup Arena Money Tournament as part of the venue’s ‘Polo After Dark’ series of events.

Community Partners of South Florida Announces Anniversary Celebrating Four Decades of Planting Roots in Home, Health and Hope

Community Partners of South Florida (CPSFL) is proud to announce its 40th anniversary, marking four decades of dedicated service to the families of Palm Beach County and celebrating 40 years rooted in home, health and hope.

Throughout 2026, Community Partners of South Florida will host a year-long celebration honoring its legacy in community well-being and development and its holistic approach to housing, mental health, and community services.

Known traditionally as the Ruby Anniversary, this 40-year milestone symbolizes enduring passion, strength, and devotion—qualities that mirror CPSFL’s unwavering commitment to Palm Beach County’s children and families

“Reaching this 40-year milestone is a testament to the resilience of the families we serve and the innovative spirit of our organization,” said Kelly Powell, CEO of Community Partners of South Florida. “We have done incredible work changing the odds for those facing financial, social, and emotional adversity. I am deeply committed to ensuring this vital work continues for decades to come, further strengthening the fabric of our communities and ensuring every child and family in Palm Beach County has the opportunity to thrive.”

The success of the past 40 years is a collective achievement. CPSFL extends its deepest gratitude to every staff member, board member, volunteer, and donor who has fueled this mission. The agency also shares a special note of appreciation for its past leadership, specifically president emeritus John Corbett, former CEOs Patrick McNamara and Scott Hansel, whose vision helped shape the organization into the powerhouse it is today.

“Celebrating four decades is an incredible milestone,” said President Emeritus John Corbett. “Looking back to when we started as the Housing Partnership in 1986, I am so proud of the journey we’ve taken together and how we overcame challenges that nearly closed our doors. It was the steadfast commitment of our people that kept us afloat in those early years.”

“Now, we’ve grown into the Community Partners of South Florida you see today,” he said. “The heart of this organization and what we’ve spent years creating is about changing the course of people’s lives for the better. I am humbled to see the difference our dedicated staff continues to make for countless families across Palm Beach County and could not be more honored to stand alongside them as we celebrate 40 years of serving South Florida’s health and housing needs.”

By meeting residents where they are—in schools, homes, churches, and community centers—CPSFL remains woven into the fabric of Palm Beach County. Its wraparound model provides a nuanced, socio-emotional approach to care that remains unreplicated in the region, ensuring that as the agency enters its next decade, it continues to save taxpayer money and drive meaningful economic growth.
