Team members from Boca West Country Club were recognized by The Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce at the 4th Annual Platinum Service Awards Luncheon, presented by Sysco, at Boca West Country Club on October 21 at Boca West Golf & Country Club. The event recognizes service excellence in hospitality and spotlights the exceptional contributions of hourly employees in the hospitality
industry.
Honorary Chair Matthew Linderman, President, COO, and General Manager of Boca West Country Club, and Co-Chair George Petrocelli, Director of Catering at The Boca Raton, as well as Charlie Maggio from Sysco, spoke at the event. There were 80 nominees.
Frank Wannop, computer & IT support at Boca West Country Club, won in the Safety and Security category.
“Frank exemplifies service through quiet consistency, ownership and an exceptional understanding of how his work impacts the entire Boca West organization,” Matthew Linderman said. “He recognizes how every technical issue he solves directly impacts staff members’ ability to successfully accomplish the job.”
