Wellington, FL — Wellington Regional Medical Center (WRMC), in partnership with Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, will host a special “Call of the Quarter” celebration on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 4:00 PM. The event will honor the outstanding efforts of the Palm Beach County Fire Rescue team and the Wellington Regional Care Team, who recently saved the life of a local cardiac patient.
The celebration will reunite the patient with the emergency responders and hospital physicians who played a critical role in her care. Responding to severe chest pain, the team quickly initiated a STEMI alert, ensuring the patient was rapidly transported to WRMC for urgent cardiac treatment. Thanks to the swift, coordinated response, the patient made a full recovery and was discharged home.
This event highlights the exceptional teamwork, dedication, and life-saving skills of Palm Beach County Fire Rescue and the Wellington Regional Care Team, whose quick action made a lasting impact on the patient’s life.
