Clinics Can Help Raises Nearly $50,000 During 12th Annual Golf Classic

Written By:

Palm Beach County, Florida – It was a picture-perfect day as Clinics Can Help (CCH) hosted its 12th Annual Golf Classic on Friday, October 24th at Eastpointe Country Club. The event welcomed enthusiastic golfers and supporters for a day of camaraderie, friendly competition, and community spirit—all while raising nearly $50,000 to support CCH’s mission of empowering children and adults to achieve greater mobility, independence, and dignity through access to essential medical equipment and supplies.

Returning as event chair was Matt Lincoln, CBS 12’s popular morning anchor, joined once again by PGA Tour Champion Dana Quigley as Honorary Chair. Quigley’s personal connection to Clinics Can Help began after a tragic accident involving his son, inspiring him to support the organization’s life-changing work.

Competition was fierce and fun across all divisions. The men’s first-place team of Ron Turner, Chris Lovely, Darrell Kingman, and Darrell Kingman Jr. took home top honors, while the women’s championship team included Linda Raybon, Nancy Boulter, Joyce Belfour, and Sandra Hearns. The men’s second-place finishers, representing Florida Blue, were David Wagner, Ben Taft, Schuyler Hample, and Ed Barham. The mixed division champions, The Morganti Group, featured Jennifer Uman, Riley Quinn, Brent Martin, and Mike Westcott. Additional contest winners included Jodi Gast and Jim Widrick for Closest to the Pin, and Nancy Suto and Darrell Kingman for Longest Drive.

“We are so incredibly grateful to everyone who continues to support us year after year—and excited to welcome so many new faces this year,” shared Clinics Can Help CEO Owen O’Neill. “Watching this tournament grow and seeing the impact it has on our programs means the world to us. These funds are vital for families who need customized equipment and specialized supplies that insurance often doesn’t cover. As Palm Beach County grows, so does the need—and we’re deeply thankful for everyone helping us meet it.”

Proceeds from the Golf Classic benefit Clinics Can Help’s K.I.N.D.E.R. (Kids In Need of Durable Equipment Right Now) Project, which assists families of children with special needs. Many of these families face overwhelming financial barriers when trying to obtain equipment that enables their children to live more independently. The K.I.N.D.E.R. Project bridges that gap—providing items that are not just life-changing, but often life-saving.

Major sponsors of the 12th Annual Clinics Can Help Golf Classic included The Gil Martinez Agency – State Farm, The Geo Group, Inc. and Rosenthal, Levy, Simon & Sosa Attorneys at Law.
