Throughout National Wellness Month this August, Amrit Ocean Resort brings its “Wellness For Life” philosophy to every table, with five distinct dining concepts offering fresh cuisine, botanical cocktails, and wellness experiences.
The lineup spans coastal fare at TULA, elevated modern indian dishes at AYRE by Karma, functional cold-pressed juices at Jeevi, community-driven evening gatherings at Taaza, and wellness-minded cocktails paired with an expert speaker series at LaLa, a full-circle approach to dining and wellbeing.
Behind it all are Executive Chefs Craig Tooker and AYRE by Karma’s Asif Syed, a James Beard-featured chef and Beat Bobby Flay alum. Together, their menus lean into seasonal ingredients and bold flavor combinations, treating “intentional” as more than a buzzword.
At the resort’s oceanfront restaurant, guests can start with the Citrus & Stone with shaved fennel, tangerine, orange, grilled nectarines, kumquat pistachio and oat crumble, Florida orange blossom honey pickled Fresno peppers, and lemon verbena. Dinner favorites include citrus-cured Wahoo Crudo and Florida Snapper with a charred tomato broth, while brunch shines with fluffy berry waffles, banana oatmeal pancakes, and multi-grain avocado toast with organic poached eggs and balsamic reduction.
Helmed by acclaimed Chef Asif Syed, AYRE by Karma rolls out restorative elixirs and wellness-focused Chef’s tasting menus featuring nutrient-rich dishes.
Jeevi’s cold-pressed juice bar is a favorite destination for the workout set. Le Carrot is a popular morning pick-me-up, or sip and savor an aromatic brew from Amrit’s new tea library.
Beachside bites meet golden-hour bliss at Taaza this month, with herb- and citrus-forward small plates made for seaside grazing, plus a rotating lineup of cocktails, spritzes, and zero-proof pours. Evening gatherings bring an upbeat, beachfront atmosphere, and a new daily Happy Hour (3–5 p.m., 50% off food and drinks) makes it an easy ritual for locals and guests alike.
LaLa’s wellness-inspired cocktail and mocktail menu highlights whole, botanical ingredients. Featured cocktails include the Summer on the Rocks, made with watermelon, jalapeño, lime and vodka, the Alexandria’s Razzle Dazzle with rosemary, lemon and raspberries, and the Blueberry Passion Margarita, crafted with blueberries, passionfruit and rosemary. Non-alcoholic guests can opt for the Lychee Green Teani, with matcha and lychee, or the Crush, a turmeric-ginger blend with matcha, carrot, lemon and cayenne.
Throughout August, LaLa will host 11 Days of Wellness, a series of expert-led conversations and immersive self-care experiences running from August 20 to August 30. Available during Harmony Hour, from 4-6pm, the series brings together leading voices in longevity, women’s health, heart health, men’s health, pelvic health, mobility and brain health for practical, science-backed guidance on living healthier, happier and longer.
