WELLINGTON, FL – Today, Stephen Levin proudly announces his candidacy for Seat 3 on the Wellington Village Council in the March 2026 municipal election. By submitting the official paperwork, Stephen Levin becomes the first individual to file in the race for this seat — marking an early step in a thoughtful, community-centered campaign.
A Proven Background in Local Service
Wellington resident since 2003, Stephen Levin has been deeply engaged in our community’s well-being for years. He has served as Vice Chair of the Planning & Zoning Adjustment Board, Vice Chair of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, a member of the School Board’s Advisory Boundary Committee and perennial volunteer coach of a variety of youth Rec League sports. He has brought together community volunteers for local enrichment events, and helped to support youth-focused programs that build teamwork and cognitive skills—showcasing a clear commitment to Wellington’s neighborhoods, schools and parks.

Drawing on this experience, Stephen Levin is dedicated to preserving our village’s character, ensuring responsible growth and maintaining the high quality of life our residents expect and deserve. From protecting open space and equestrian lands to supporting our village’s schools and promoting transparent, responsive government, he has already begun listening, learning and preparing.
Why Run, Why Now
“Our village stands at a crossroads,” said Levin. “As someone who has walked Wellington’s streets, ridden beside our children at the park and worked alongside our nonprofit and business leaders, I believe we must plan for the future while preserving what makes Wellington special. Filing early is my way of saying: I am ready, I am serious and I am committed to earning your trust over the next year.”

By being the first to file for Seat 3, Stephen Levin signals readiness to build a campaign grounded in the voices of everyday residents, not in last-minute momentum.
Campaign Priorities
Key priorities for Stephen Levin include:
- Fiscal responsibility: Ensuring Wellington’s services remain top-tier without placing undue burden on homeowners and small businesses.
- Controlled, smart growth: Balancing new development with preservation of our equestrian preserves and open space.
- Excellent schools & engaged neighborhoods: Supporting educational initiatives and ensuring all community corners are heard in the village decision-making process.
• Transparent, accessible government: Bringing Wellington’s government closer to its residents through town halls, digital engagement and open information sharing.
Next Steps
Over the coming months, Stephen Levin will visit neighborhoods, volunteer groups, business owners and schools to gather input, build relationships and share a vision of a Wellington that remains a “great hometown” for all. The campaign invites residents to join the dialogue and help shape the agenda.
