YMCA of the Palm Beaches has announced that longtime supporters and community leaders Cathy and Dale Hedrick will serve as Honorary Chairpersons of its 17th Annual Prayer Breakfast, featuring keynote speaker Jesse Palmer, on Tuesday, December 8, at 8:00 a.m. at The Breakers Palm Beach.

The Hedricks’ connection to the YMCA is deeply personal. Dale, founder and CEO of Hedrick Brothers Construction, accompanied his father to the Y almost daily and credits the organization with adding not only years to his father’s life, but happiness to those years. Today, that commitment continues as Hedrick Brothers Construction builds the YMCA’s new Lake Lytal Park Community Center, a project especially meaningful to the family.

Cathy, a former Assistant State Attorney and longtime community leader, shares Dale’s dedication to faith, family and service. Married for 38 years, the couple are active members of Family Church Downtown and have been passionate supporters of the YMCA’s mission since the 1980s.
“Having Cathy and Dale serve as our Honorary Chairs makes this year’s Prayer Breakfast especially meaningful,” said Tim Coffield, President and CEO of the YMCA
of the Palm Beaches. “Their family’s story reflects exactly what the Y is all about: building connections, enriching lives and strengthening our community for generations to come.”
Felicia Rodriguez, longtime WPBF 25 (ABC) news anchor, will host the Q&A part of the program with Palmer, former University of Florida Gators and NFL quarterback who is now an ESPN college football analyst and host of ABC’s The Bachelor franchises and Food Network’s Baking Championship series.
Sponsorship opportunities are going fast, and individual tickets begin at $250 per person. A special pre-event meet-and-greet and photo opportunity with Jesse Palmer will also be available. For sponsorship and ticket information, visit ymcapalmbeaches.org or contact Joely Pique at 561-508-4031 or jpique@ymcapalmbeaches.org.
Proceeds from the Prayer Breakfast support the YMCA’s mission of strengthening the community through programs and services that nurture a healthy mind, body and spirit for all.
