The Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches will host the inaugural Carnaval Palm Beaches, presented by the BrandX Company, a new signature event celebrating Hispanic business excellence, cultural influence, and economic leadership across Palm Beach County.

Held Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, at Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach and timed to National Hispanic Heritage Month, Carnaval Palm Beaches will bring together business and community leaders for a vibrant and elevated evening celebrating the people, businesses, and organizations that continue to shape the future of Palm Beach County.

More than a cultural celebration, Carnaval Palm Beaches recognizes the lasting contributions of the Hispanic community to Palm Beach County. For more than half a century, Hispanic entrepreneurs, nonprofit organizations, professionals, and community leaders have helped create jobs, strengthen neighborhoods, mentor future generations, support charitable causes, and build one of the strongest and most dynamic local economies in America.

The event reflects The Chamber’s commitment to strengthening multicultural connections, empowering all entrepreneurs, and creating pathways to economic opportunity throughout Palm Beach County.

“For generations, the Hispanic community has helped shape Palm Beach County through entrepreneurship, innovation, service, and an unwavering commitment to opportunity,” said Michael Zeff, President & CEO of the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches. “Carnaval Palm Beaches is a celebration of that legacy. It recognizes the businesses, nonprofits, professionals, and community leaders whose contributions continue to strengthen our economy and enrich our community. It is a celebration of culture, but it is also a celebration of contribution.”

Carnaval Palm Beaches will transform the Four Seasons into a vibrant yet sophisticated celebration featuring live music, refined cuisine, and artistic expression. Guests are invited to embrace festival formal attire, with elegant evening wear, bold color, and cultural expression encouraged.

A centerpiece of the evening will be the inaugural Avanza Business Awards:

  • The Business of the Year Award, presented by Gunster, recognizes a Hispanic-owned business of any size that demonstrates excellence in growth, innovation, customer experience, and community engagement, and contributes meaningfully to the economic vitality of Palm Beach County.
    • Finalists: Anchor Bank, DeSigns To Go, and The Space Connect.
  • The Health & Human Services Organization of the Year award, presented by SmittyShield Insurance Agency, recognizes a nonprofit organization that has demonstrated exceptional leadership in improving the health, well-being, and quality of life of Hispanic individuals and families in Palm Beach County through innovative programs, compassionate service, advocacy, education, or community support.
    • Finalists: Caridad Center, Interactive Community Alliance, and Hispanic Human Resources Center.
  • The Community Impact Leader of the Year, presented by Porta Potty To Go, recognizes an individual whose leadership, service, or philanthropy has created lasting positive impact and strengthened the broader community.
    • Recipient: Longtime community leader Armando Fana was recently announced as the inaugural recipient of this prestigious award.

For decades, Fana has dedicated his career to strengthening communities, expanding opportunity, and helping shape the future of West Palm Beach. His leadership and commitment to public service have left a lasting impact on the city and the people it serves.

Carnaval Palm Beaches builds upon the momentum of Avanza Palm Beaches, the Chamber’s initiative dedicated to connecting, supporting, and advancing the County’s Hispanic business community. Through Avanza and other Chamber initiatives, Hispanic entrepreneurs and professionals build meaningful business relationships, expand their networks, access valuable resources, and strengthen their businesses while contributing to the continued success of Palm Beach County.

Proceeds from Carnaval Palm Beaches will support the Chamber’s Innovation Hub, helping cultivate entrepreneurship and equip emerging business leaders with the education, connections, resources, and opportunities they need to succeed.

Carnaval Palm Beaches is expected to become one of the Chamber’s signature annual events, celebrating not only the richness of Hispanic culture, but also the entrepreneurial spirit, leadership, and community impact that continue to shape the future of Palm Beach County.
