On Thursday, June 18, 2026, Nathalie Acosta hosted the soft opening of her event studio, Boards By Nat, located at 4115 S State Road 7 STE Y2 Wellington, FL 33449.
Boards By Nat is a family-run catering company that has specialized in charcuterie arrangements and light bites for nearly six years. The studio provides a space where guests can host their own private events and special occasions, while offering gourmet bites, grazing tables, and hands-on charcuterie workshops.
Driven by her passion for culinary art and serving those she loves, Acosta shared that her vision for the studio is to bring the community together. “I feel like the best way to bring people together is food. I love serving people. That is my love language, feeding people.” Acosta said. “I just want to keep bringing people together and creating a space where people can gather.”
This special event brought together Acosta’s family and friends, as well as members of the community to celebrate the studio’s opening in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Guests mingled during a cocktail hour, enjoying delicious homemade small bites, refreshments, and a selection of wine from Virginia Philip Wine Spirits & Academy. The small-bites selection included the signature antipasto salad, empanadas, and gourmet shrimp skewers.
Guests participated in a curated wine-tasting experience and a hands-on charcuterie workshop led by Acosta, where they created personalized boards to take home. A representative from Virginia Philip Wine Spirits & Academy provided expert insight for each wine and suggested food pairings that complement them. Each guest received a custom hand-engraved wine glass as a party favor to commemorate the special event.
The evening was filled with laughter, camaraderie, and joy. The genuine connection among everyone cultivated a positive, family-like environment. As guests were gathered around the tables, they enjoyed the festivities and every moment together.
Acosta expressed, “I want our space to not just be a catering kitchen or a place where people pick up orders. I wanted it to be where people can have their special celebrations.” Acosta said. “We cater so many special celebrations, baby showers, engagement parties, and so many beautiful milestones. It means so much to be able to be a part of those special moments in people’s lives.”
