Jodie Schmitz, President of Grandma’s Place Board of Directors, is thrilled to announce that Admiral’s Foundation once again made a very generous grant to support their emergency foster care program. Jodie said, “This grant will help us fulfil our mission to provide housing, compassionate loving care, educational opportunities and support to the most vulnerable children and families”.
The proceeds of this grant benefit the emergency foster care program, which provides shelter and loving care to children – from birth to the age of 12 – who have suffered abuse or neglect and have been removed from their homes. Grandma’s Place also provides respite care for young children with disabilities while offering support to their parents/caregivers to maximize each child’s safety and success.
The Admirals Cove Foundation is the philanthropic arm of The Club at Admirals Cove. Their mission reflects something greater, a vibrant tradition of philanthropy that mirrors the exceptional quality of life that they enjoy at Admirals Cove. The foundation exists to improve lives in northern Palm Beach County and to strengthen our own community through our shared culture of giving.
