Community Partners of South Florida (CPSFL), in partnership with the Lake Worth Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (LWBCRA), successfully hosted its annual Housing Fair on June 6, 2026, at Hatch 1121.Â
The free family-friendly event drew an enthusiastic crowd of approximately 50 to 60 attendees looking to build the tools necessary to achieve the dream of homeownership.
The fair provided a comprehensive, one-stop shop for prospective buyers, featuring an impressive lineup of industry vendors. Attendees had the opportunity to connect directly with experts from six major banking institutions, VanDyk Mortgage Corporation, Century 21 Real Estate, the Community Land Trust, and Habitat for Humanity.Â
Alongside invaluable homebuying, budgeting, and pre-purchasing information, families enjoyed food trucks, raffle prizes, and kids’ entertainment, including face painting.
A highlight of the fair was the promotion of Davis Commons, a joint development project between CPSFL and the Community Land Trust of Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast.Â

Priced from $310,000, these three-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom townhouses include one-car garages and are built with hurricane-resistant concrete blocks. They represent a major step forward in expanding high-quality, income-certified affordable housing options within the community.
The success of the event was made possible through the generous support of its major sponsors: Fifth Third Bank, First Horizon Bank, and the Lake Worth Beach CRA for generously providing their vibrant cultural building, Hatch 1121, as the host site for the day.
“We are grateful to our partners, sponsors, and residents who came out to make this housing fair a success,” said Kelly Powell, CEO of Community Partners of South Florida. “Seeing families take tangible steps toward homeownership reinforces why we do this work. This event underscores our commitment to comprehensive community development and by strategically investing in people, places, and systems, we are ensuring that our neighborhoods and residents can thrive for generations to come.”
