WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Research shows that loneliness is taking a toll on mental and physical health, but small acts of care and connection can make a real difference. This February, Mental Health America of the Palm Beaches (MHAPB) is launching “Share the Love,” a month-long campaign that invites residents to support mental wellness by showing up, reaching out, and treating themselves while giving back through local partners.

“Love isn’t just a feeling—it’s something we do,” said Andy McAusland, CEO of Mental Health America of the Palm Beaches. “When we care for ourselves and one another, we strengthen mental health and help everyone feel they belong. ‘Share the Love’ gives people simple ways to get involved right here in our community.”

Throughout February, MHAPB is partnering with local bakers and restaurants to raise funds and awareness for mental health programs, including Clubhouses in West Palm Beach and Belle Glade that foster belonging, purpose, and hope.

“Share the Love” Ways to Support

Events and promotions open to the public include:

  • All Month Long | Field of Greens Locations Countywide
Grab a Pink Banana Smoothie at any Field of Greens location, and they will donate $1 to Mental Health America of the Palm Beaches. It is an easy way to support mental health in the community—one smoothie at a time, or two when purchased for a friend to share the love.
  • Friday, February 13, 12 PM-2 PM | Fern Street Clubhouse, 909 Fern St, West Palm Beach
Drop by MHAPB’s Fern Street Clubhouse to enjoy complimentary sweets and show your support by making a donation toward a box of cookies from some of Palm Beach County’s best bakers, including Maman, Aioli, Nikki’s Jazzy Treats, Kia’s Kreations and More, and The Ba’Kerry @BabiCakeswpb. You can also take home a beautiful Trader Joe’s flower bouquet arranged in a hand-painted vase.
  • Thursday, February 19, 11 AM-1 PM | Glades Clubhouse, 1101 W Ave A, Belle Glade
Visit the Glades Clubhouse to treat yourself to cookies from local bakers or enjoy a homemade smoothie or lemonade, while connecting with clubhouse members and staff.

These “Share the Love” activities lead up to MHAPB’s Lead with Love 5K and March for Mental Wellnesson March 28, 2026, at Dreher Park in West Palm Beach, where runners can join the 5K and walkers can experience a wellness journey featuring yoga, meditation, and neuroarts experiences.

“We want everyone in Palm Beach County to know there’s a place for them in this movement,” McAusland added. “Whether you visit one of our Clubhouses, grab a smoothie that gives back, or simply check in on someone who might be feeling alone, you can share the love—not just in February, but every day.”
