GCC 2026 Round Table Brings Selected Community Leaders Together for Collaboration

Written By: Lois Spatz

Now in its 17th year, Great Charity Challenge presented by Fidelity Investment® will distribute 2 plus million dollars to selected Palm Beach County non-profit organizations. Those 33 selected Non-Profit Organizations were invited this past Thursday to deepen collaboration and connections at a Round -Table panel discussion held at the Village of Wellington Community Center.

Led by GCC Executive Director Anne Caroline Valtin, the round table was part of the GCC vision to connect committed and purpose-driven impact within the Palm Beach County community.  Valtin’s focus was on fostering meaningful, mission-aligned partnerships designed to create measurable change through shared vision and collective action. Each charity was invited to share their mission and purpose with the room.

The session brought together a wide-ranging group of nonprofits spanning education, youth development, arts and culture, health services, wildlife conservation, veteran support, and animal welfare. Participating organizations included A Second Chance Rescue, All For One Pet Rescue, ANGARI Foundation, Armory Art Center, Bound For College, Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County, Busch Wildlife Sanctuary, Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County, Dress for Success Palm Beaches, Education Foundation of Palm Beach County, Els for Autism Foundation, Farmworker Coordinating Council, FoundCare, Hope Floats Foundation, Housing Leadership Council of Palm Beach County, Junior Achievement of the Palm Beaches & Treasure Coast, Lake Worth Dollars for Scholars, Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida, Marine Toys for Tots, Middle School of the Arts Foundation, Palm Beach Dramaworks, Path to College, Philanthropy Tank, Place of Hope, Restoration Bridge International, Ru4Me Pet Rescue, Speak Up for Kids, Sweet Dream Makers, Take Stock in Children Palm Beach, Urban League of Palm Beach County, Warriors Choice Foundation, Women’s Red Apple Foundation of Palm Beach County and Wounded Veterans Relief Fund.

To encourage continued connection, attendees received a shared contact list of all participants for creating opportunities for follow-up conversations and create partnerships beyond the initial session.
